Evening Elegance Return Policy

At Evening Elegance we want you to feel free to return a purchase that does not work for you. With the exception of costumes, costume accessories, lingerie, hosiery and special orders for items not in stock, we will give you a refund on returns that meet the following criteria:
  • Includes the original invoice,
  • Is postmarked within 30 days of purchase,
  • Is in perfect condition,
  • Has not be worn or used,
  • Is returned in the same package along with the packing material, or the equivalent and
  • Has the tags still attached and those tags have not been folded, bent, curled or otherwise disfigured.
If your order arrives damaged you must contact us within 48 hours and describe the circumstances. It must then be returned within 5 days in the original packaging.

If you do not receive your order you must contact us with 10 days in order to quality for a replacement.

If you receive the wrong item, please email us and we will attempt to correct the problem immediately. We will send you the correct item along with postage to return the wrong one. Please do not mail the wrong one back without waiting for our postage as we will not reimburse your return shipping charges. The actual color of the item you ordered may vary from the picture as the current technology does not permit accurate color reproduction from one computer to another.

Returns will be processed within 30 days with the refund credited back to your account. Postage remains the responsibility of the customer. A restocking charge of up to $10.00 per item may be assessed for processing at the discretion of Evening Elegance. If the postage paid was less than what was required to ship the order, restocking fees will apply. Orders that were sent with free shipping will have a charge of $5.00 deducted from the refund. Restocking fees also may apply when merchandise is returned needing some minor refurbishing or when other discrepancies exist. Evening bags must be returned in boxes with adequate stuffing and gloves may not be folded or creased. As we cannot replace the cardboard or cellophane, they can be resold as new in this condition.

Although we do not accept returns on costumes, you may exchange one for another size, if available. To obtain an authorization for the exchange, send us an email with your order number and the desired size. If available, we will hold it for 10 days in which time you need to send us the invoice noted with the new size, the old costume, and a check for the additional postage. We do not make refunds or exchanges on lingerie. In the event of a dispute, the decision of Evening Elegance will prevail.
